      A wonderful surprise

      The quality of print, art and content in this book was a huge surprise for me. It provides so much background and so many ideas for anyone looking to run campaign involving the Drow. In fact, I would think this book is essential if you want to run a Drow based player group. It also includes one of (In my opinion) the most beautiful maps released by WotC. So far both Paizo and WotC have taken to releasing books that offer very little to the consumer. Poor value indeed. I wasn't expecting much from this book but I was pleasantly surprised by what I got.

      Not just for 4e.

      While I don't play 4e any longer, the info in this book is still great to have. I was using a friend's book and gave it back to him and finally bought my own. I've been using this book, and tons of other 4e & 5e books, for info in my Homebrew HeroQuest campaign and also have used it in 5e campaigns. I don't DM a lot in D&D but I do make a lot of one-shot and mini campaign stuff for our group.
