      Marguerite de Angeli's Book of Nursery and Mother Goose

      Marguerite de Angeli's Book of Nursery and Mother Goose Rhymes is a delightful book, filled with beautiful artwork by the author. I bought this as a gift for my Mother who had this book when we 5 children were small. She would read it to us at nap time and usually doze off herself while we waited to hear more! The rhymes are in original form- no political correctness here! If you are sensitive to political correctness you may not wish to purchase this book, but it is worth it to simply skip over the rhymes in question. However, I choose to use it as a teaching moment of how much the world has changed. This book is worth the money and would be a great gift for any family. I have so many good memories of this book! It brings joy to my heart!
