I have received it faster, but the adapter, which was announced on the item presentation, a Zoom Mrs-4, it wasn’t delivered. Plus the shipping and taxes were much higher than expected,: 30$ CA Supposed to be 12$ US. The seller doesn’t answer any questions!

  • The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

The RP355 lives up to its marketing... I am an oldschool tube junkie. I've owned tons of the amps and effects modeled in the RP. I've also used Line 6 modeling processors for years prior to trying the DigiTech. First, this thing has some great features... the looper and drum machine are both top notch! The expression pedal is quite useful for effects and gain. Stomp mode is pretty sweet... The tuner works well... There's even a halfway decent sounding bass simulator... I disagree with people who have said that the presets are wonderful... Most are crap, just like with any other "multi" processor, but hey... all of the user presets are tweakable, and with a good ear you can actually dial in the desired tone of much of the equipment represented; ...

  • Digitech RP355 Guitar Processor - Great for practice sessions!

Digitech RP355 Modeling Guitar Processor Bought for $200 USD on Ebay Was looking for something I could use for home guitar practice sessions with drum machine, looper, tone effects, and not too expensive, and not too complicated to use. This fits the bill. If you are starting out, you don't even need an amp, as headphones can be used. Has tuning function and expession pedal (defaults mainly to a volume pedal for the presets, but other parameters can be assigned). I personally like the Digitech presets. The looper is adequate and easy to use. Digitech continues to use their matrix display found in other Digitech products, which looks complex at first, but is rather simple. Software can be downloaded for visually editing presets on your computer (This I really liked and found to be ...

  • Somewhat limited, but well worth the low cost (and still mega-versatile)

This pedal is excellent. I was looking for something that was comprehensive like the Line 6 pods, and this seemed to fit the bill. This pedal does everything! The only issue that I have with it is that there is a limited number of things it can do at one time. There's generally only one effect plus delay that it can do along with a distortion (not including the expression pedal). So if you want, say, chorus and octave at the same time as distortion and delay, I haven't found a way to do it without adding an external pedal. That really hasn't been a big deal, but it is a limitation that you might want to know about. For the price, it's sweet. It sounds great, it's versatile, you can download all kinds of patches, record through it, use drum beats from it (also kind of limited), ...

  • QUALITY SOUNDING EFFECTS UNIT WITH SOME NICE SURPRIZES!!!

The Digitech RP355 is a nice little effects pedal. This is also a MODELING pedal, which can model various amplifiers, speaker configurations and pick-up's. Such as single-coil & humbucking pick-up. It's basically a glorified coil-tap, rack mount-type effect unit, with tuning, wah-wah, volume pedal, a drum machine and sampling built in. You can sample up to 20 seconds. The only difference is that it's not in a rack, you can manipulate it like any other guitar pedal, by stepping on the appropriate pedal. There are literally hundreds of possible effect combinations, as well as amplifier & speaker configs. Some pro players may NOT prefer this, but this pedal is still great for both the pro & amature player player alike. You can save settings as you adjust your parameters inside each menu ...
