I’m excited all a good eBay experienc. Is it he under t shirt as in good working condition with amenities.the only thing was the power cord did not match the unit to work correctly (minor ) but would definitely recommend.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
The RP355 lives up to its marketing... I am an oldschool tube junkie. I've owned tons of the amps and effects modeled in the RP. I've also used Line 6 modeling processors for years prior to trying the DigiTech. First, this thing has some great features... the looper and drum machine are both top notch! The expression pedal is quite useful for effects and gain. Stomp mode is pretty sweet... The tuner works well... There's even a halfway decent sounding bass simulator... I disagree with people who have said that the presets are wonderful... Most are crap, just like with any other "multi" processor, but hey... all of the user presets are tweakable, and with a good ear you can actually dial in the desired tone of much of the equipment represented; ... Most are crap, just like with any other "multi" processor, but hey... all of the user presets are tweakable, and with a good ear you can actually dial in the desired tone of much of the equipment represented; however, tt's a little more difficult to attain the represented tone with the RP when compared with Line 6. Now the bad news... Unlike Line 6 devices, there is no "clean" input to the usb interface (even in bypass mode). You must create a "direct in" preset and level all the settings in order to get close. This makes using recording plugins and processing software like amplitude difficult. There's also no easy access to the mix between system sounds and processor sound. It can be found in the Xedit software, but this means you pretty much have to use this editor everytime you record or play along with your computer. The Ugly... Latency is an issue... don't expect to run full on 24bit multitrack recording with the included Cubase 4LE... You can lay some tracks, maybe use a plugin or two if you're lucky, and then she starts to have issues... definately not a serious relpacement for a usb recording interface, especially with no microphone preamps, line in, or bass guitar options... Personal Note: I was quite content with my Line 6 devices; however, they were studio devices, not portable and without foot switches. The RP was an effort to have similar features in a portable device with foot switches... No regrets... I'd practice, and sometimes even gig, with this unit... AMD USERS!!!! Athlon 64 X2 QL processors have serious issues with Line 6 devices, in that the usb power is dirty. Pops and clicks make using them together impossible. I had hoped that this unit would have it's own power source since it does use a power supply or batteries, but it too suffers from the AMD USB power issue. Unlike my Line 6 devices, I was able to use a powered USB hub between the RP and the AMD with complete success! Trying this with Line 6 devices resulted in clean power temporarily, but addressing issues that caused lockups and shutdowns. Although it has its limitations, this is great unit and an overall bargain! When price shopping for similar features and quality construction, this unit steals the show... On the other hand, if you're never going to leave your computer screen, and want to do some serious desktop multi-tracking, even Line 6's lower end "pod studio gx" usb interface still sounds a little better and has much more "studio" friendly features...

The looper is adequate and easy to use. Digitech continues to use their matrix display found in other Digitech products, which looks complex at first, but is rather simple. This pedal is excellent. I was looking for something that was comprehensive like the Line 6 pods, and this seemed to fit the bill. This pedal does everything! The only issue that I have with it is that there is a limited number of things it can do at one time. There's generally only one effect plus delay that it can do along with a distortion (not including the expression pedal). So if you want, say, chorus and octave at the same time as distortion and delay, I haven't found a way to do it without adding an external pedal. That really hasn't been a big deal, but it is a limitation that you might want to know about. For the price, it's sweet. It sounds great, it's versatile, you can download all kinds of patches, record through it, use drum beats from it (also kind of limited), ... This pedal is excellent. I use different settings lined up next to each other so it's easy to switch back and forth from acoustic (yes, actual acoustic, not just clean electric) to metal and so on. Very cool, very fun, very inexpensive, and easy to use once you learn it.

It's basically a glorified coil-tap, rack mount-type effect unit, with tuning, wah-wah, volume pedal, a drum machine and sampling built in. You can sample up to 20 seconds. The only difference is that it's not in a rack, you can manipulate it like any other guitar pedal, by stepping on the appropriate pedal. There are literally hundreds of possible effect combinations, as well as amplifier & speaker configs. Some pro players may NOT prefer this, but this pedal is still great for both the pro & amature player player alike. You can save settings as you adjust your parameters inside each menu ... I say names because each setting (Metallica,Blues, Jazz, Crystal, Modded etc) has probably 1-5 effects on each. Delay, Chorus, Distortion, Compression etc. you can adjust the levels of these to customize your sound. I was shocked to realize however, that you cannot save your presets in any customized order though. you can save them, but they come up in a list as you hold each of the pedals down. There is also no ON/OFF switch. Just plug the unit in, and it powers up. These are the ONLY two things I DO NOT like about this unit. I think they are big flaws though in a live application. Not so much the on & off switch, but being able to switch back and forth between effects in an instant is a HUGE benefit in any LIVE application. I use this pedal exclusively for recording, so it is suitable for me. No problems at all! Construction-wise, it's rugged. Made of steel, and not cheap looking or feeling. You can hook up to a mixer via XLR's or 1/4" jacks built into back of unit. It sounds VERY good running through mixer direct. No loss of quality, or sound like most direct boxes. It does NOT thin the sound AT ALL. What you hear through the speakers is what you get in the mix. I was amazed at that!! :) I also don't want to scare any live players out there! If you are playing live, and you have a few seconds to switch effects between songs, this unit is more than FINE!! If you want to jump around with effects while playing live, and not miss a beat (or a measure or two in this case--lol) you better move up to the RP455 or higher. Happy Strumming!!!
