    HERE'S HOW TO OPEN IT.

    Squeeze the two halves together with your thumb and forefinger on the circuit board end about an inch away from the case end. You will hear a pop and the case halves can be slid apart. Install the harddrive and slide the halves back together. It will be hard to get the slide guides to fit to each other so be patient. It will also be difficult to slide back together. NOTE: AFTER THE HARDDRIVE IS INSTALLED AND THE HALVES ARE LOCKED BACK TOGETHER, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO RE RELEASE THE HALVES WITHOUT DAMAGING THE CASE. That being said, I recommend the use of the case as extra protection of an external harddrive.

    Great case to repurpose laptop drives.

    Love being able to see the actual drive. Great case if you have any old laptops that use SATA drives that you can use as a pocket drive, media drive for a Smart TV or access files from a laptop that stopped working but the drive still works or to test drives to see if they still work.

    A bit tricky to get apart and get the drive in but after that it is smooth sailing

    SSD fits right in seemed a bit hard to open and seemed a bit hard to get the drive into place but after that it works perfect .Pretty fast also almost as fast as going sata inside the computer with usb3 I have put around 650 GB on it with no problems .A blue led tells you it has power and flickers with data transfer. Pretty simple just plug it into USB3 or will work on USB2 but slower as expected .Nice has a special cable but only uses 1 USB port . makes a great jump drive .
