    Still my fav

    I prefer this older model to others of this brand I've tried. The only problem is that is doesn't always glide smoothly when I twist it to make curls. Might be operator error. Its still my fav for making my hair straight and smooth.

    Did not meet my expectation

    It is not any better than the cheaper ones. It does not glide smoothly, catches my hair. The plates do not come together, there is a big gap between them. Like the temperature control and fast heating. Regret buying it.

    Don’t leave home without it!

    I am so addicted to flat irons after my niece turned me on to them last year that when my very first “modern” one died last month (I had the Curl Tamer when I was a teen), I had to buy 2 new flat irons to replace it (just so that I would never be without one again)! This one I am storing in my overnight bag in the Vera Bradley flat iron cover I just bought.

    Gentle but Straightens Well

    I replaced my old Babyliss titanium flat iron with this one. The ceramic iron is much more gentle on my fine hair, but still does an amazing job straightening my hair without damage. I love it.
