Synopsis
A masterpiece of modern literature that mirrors Maugham's own career. Of Human Bondage is the first and most autobiographical of Maugham's novels. It is the story of Philip Carey, an orphan eager for life, love and adventure. After a few months studying in Heidelberg, and a brief spell in Paris as a would-be artist, Philip settles in London to train as a doctor. And that is where he meets Mildred, the loud but irresistible waitress with whom he plunges into a formative, tortured and masochistic affair which very nearly ruins him.

- 2***4 (127)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseI got the Blu ray of STRANDED, a sci Fi movie starring Christian slater and I got it at a really great price from estocks_usa. I'm a bit surprised on how fast they got it to me because of the 4th of July weekend window I'd ordered it in, but it got to me earlier than listed and well wrapped up. It got to me in brand new looking shape. Good seller, fast shipping and they sent me what they advertised.
- _***p (198)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseHonestly a good seller! I purchased a listing without a photo but the title eluded that the CD was a different title than I anticipated. They told me if it wasn’t what they thought because they couldn’t take a photo of it they’d issue a refund and they did. I owned the CD they sent already. I appreciated their honesty and I do want to give them more business so I’m going to buy some more CDs with photos this time! Quick response quick shipping packaged safe and great value.
