  • Glorious tone without the hum

Not a big fan of active pickups but Greg's multiple youtube videos convinced me to take the risk. My ears are very satisfied with the actual results. These give me the choice between underwound and overwound tones, but I find myself mostly in the overwound (boosted) position. Installation had two minor hurdles, 1) neck pickup wire barely reached the circuit board--had to disassemble the control panel to create room to solder it. 2) control module is a very tight fit, so I shaved down some of the plastic casing and circuit board with an exacto knife to get it to slide in easily--no re-routing necessary (Musikraft Tele body) No Regrets.

  • 2, 2, 2 tones from one :-)

Love these "Gristle Tone" pickups from Fishman. Put this set in my suhr tele (and the stock pickups were not too shabby!) Absolutely clean and quiet with a sweet top end from the bridge, sparkly middle position the way it should be, and a bluesy wail in the neck, and the dual mode goes from spank to crank at the touch of a button. Clean easy install. These Fishman Fluence pups are what everybody should upgrade to for their Tele spankin' aspirations!

  • The pinnacle of noiseless pickups

i'm a strat guy first and foremost and put a set of these in my strat about a year ago. i've always been a big proponent of Fralin single coils but i finally had enough of the noise that occurs when you start ramping up the gain. The fluence pickups sound remarkably close to the fralins but without the noise and with the added feature of a second voicing. cutting to the chase, i love these things. a year later when i heard about the greg koch tele set, and still very happy with them in my strat, i decided to see what they could do for my tele. no disappointments. clean and punchy, no noise, 2 voices, and volume and tone knobs with great tapers. also retains the high end really well when you roll the volume knob. check out some of the greg koch demos on youtube if you have any ...

  • Take your tele to new heights!

This "Greg Koch Gristletone" Tele is all that is advertised and then some. First off they are very easy to install in a standard configured Tele. Much less complicated than the humbucker sets. There are only 5 wires to solder in which are clearly marked. Sound wise they are killer. You won't sound like Greg but you will love the thick tone and the 2nd voicing you can get with these. Blues, country, classic rock etc are all covered here. I saved some money by purchasing an "open box" which were brand new. Can't recommend these pickups strongly enough as well as "Don't Tell The Wife Guitars" I'm buying a Strat set next.

  • Fishman Fluence Pickups Are Fantastic!

It took me barely an hour to install these, and I am far from a guitar tech. Having two "voices" to choose from is great: grabbing an extra level for solos without having to switch channels or mess with a pedal is a great feature. I'd recommend these pickups to anyone.
