Product Information

Steven Soderbergh's MAGIC MIKE stars Channing Tatum as the title character, an entrepreneur who works as a roofer and in several other occupations, but makes most of his money being the star attraction at Club Xquisite, a male strip joint in Tampa that fills every weekend night with drunken, horny women eager to slide dollar bills between hard-bodied dudes and the G-strings they wear. While on a roofing job, Mike meets Adam (Alex Pettyfer), a misfit college dropout who lost a football scholarship when he punched his coach, and he decides to teach the kid how to become an exotic dancer. Mike introduces Adam to Dallas (Matthew McConaughey), the owner of the club, and gets him onto the crew of regular performers. As Dallas plans a big move for the troupe, Mike tries to start his dream business, falls for Adam's sister, and sees Adam fall to the temptations of the stripper life.

    Yellow Yellow Everywhere

    I couldn't finish the movie because, for some reason, the director put some kind of distracting yellow filter on most outdoor scenes washing out most of the color for much of the film. Is the director color blind or just trying to be stylistic? I really tried to put up with the horrid yellow filtering but the dialog became so boring towards the middle, I couldn't take it anymore. Interesting premise but fell flat quickly.

    This is a good movie all around. Funny, exciting, & romantic.

    I LOVE THIS MOVIE! !!!!! I've watched it so many times. I think it's more than hot bod's. I think the plot is really sweet.

    The movie was a must see for me. C. Tatum dances with passion and skill.

    I really enjoyed the movie the first time I seen it so I decided I would purchase it so I could watch it over again. I also plan to watch it with some friends. Really enjoyed the dancing in this movie.

    Somewhat disappointing

    The product itself was fine but the movie was disappointing. Except for the amazing performance by Matthew McGonahy (sp?) the story kind of left me cold.
