  • Easy to use, but might need your own re-programming efforts

I give it 4 stars out of 5. It's one of those smartphones, which you can use not thinking: "It's smarter, than me :(". Pluses: Easy and comfortable to use, friendly interface, great style, camera, alarm and organizer. Battery lives 3 days in a standby mode. Is it good or bad, I don't know, because I haven't got an opportunity to compare it to other phones' battery life. Minuses: mail sometimes doesn't want to respond and 'sticks' until you reload the whole phone. Also, there is a chaos with connecting to the Internet through the different services. Doesn't want to recognize the main Wi-Fi point and offers alternatives, which of course don't work, as i haven't even got them! For now, I don't know what to do with it. However, I think, I'll manage if re-programm the whole thing. ;]

  • Nokia N8 great phone but functions can be a little non sensitive.

Great phone, this model has plenty of features such as large memory 16gb and long battery life. This model also has hd quality video and picture quality but at night time the video can be bad quality due to the light. The icon function can be a pest as you have to make sure you close all programmes when not using the phone and using the icon's can also be a nightmare as you press the icon and nothing happens, you have to keep on pressing the icon until it works. But overall the functions looks are a bit dated and could be easier as some other smart phones. I had an HTC HD phone previously but the battery life was terrible but a better functional phone.

  • Smart smart phone

This phone is easy to use though the touch screen is sometimes a bit shaky. When energy saving mode is turned on, the battery is life is reliable, the sat-nav is perfect, the sound is outstanding, the internet speed is acceptable, all I bought it for. Shame it doesn't work as well with Macs...

  • Good phone - standard nokia menu and setup

Great screen quailty and picture quality. Just as good as the Iphone (if not better) Phone is easy to use and fairly quick The menu and everyhting else on the phone is typical nokia, the same as the nokia N97, N900, C6 etc Overall a good phone

  • Nokia V Iphone

To get this reveiw started i got rid of my iphone to back to nokia iv'e had nokia since iv'e had phones since the mid 90's, i thought i would see what all the fuss was about so i got the iphone 3gs and while the Apps are without doubt awesome, the the reception on the phone was appaling it would drop out of signal half way through calls then whilst saying it had a good signal just not bother to connect. So i got an N8 and appart from the lack of decent Apps (ican live with that) and the ovi maps just resets the phone half way through navigation. ican live with the fact that when i want to make a call it happens fact. and being the places i go it makes sense and im glad i went back to the N8. i was looking at trading up for this phone but it wasn't on the market at the time of my renewal, ...
