Item received in great condition, as described. The shipping cost however was not what it cost. I reached out to the seller who replied and I quote "I’m also $40 cheaper than anyone else on eBay." I didn't ask if they were cheaper, I asked how they charged more than $10 over the advertised shipping cost. Don't hide behind fees, ebay commission, shipping further away when in the end you charged far more than the actual shipping costs. However, I did get what I paid for so its positive.

    Fender Mustang II V2 40 Watt

    What's Good: Amp modeling is pretty accurate. It has a nice look and not too heavy. Relatively simple to use. I got mine new for $179, can't beat the price. Has clear clean tones and the Fender Bassman model is spot on. I can play country or metal on this amp. It is also nice for playing classic rock tunes like Jimi Hendrix, Zeppelin, AeroSmith. I was able to dial in a really good David Gilmore (The Wall) sound, too. I played some Hank Williams Jr. and Merle Haggard too on the Fender amp models and it kicks butt in Country mode. I tested and it does mic well; so you could use this amp live with a PA system; putting the mic a little off center from the cone and about 1 1/2 inch off the grill seemed to work the best. What's bad: It has limited storing for saved settings; only ...

    Best Amp for the Buck

    Best home amp for the buck. Maybe a little more than needed for home but I like things that are too much so that I can scale it back to my personal preference. There is no limit to what sound effects this neat little box can produce. I absolutely love this amp and would recommend it to my friends, however, I wouldn't have to coax them too hard if all I do is give them a taste of what it can do.

    Excellent amp with a simple modification

    This review appears elsewhere for the Fender Mustang 1 amp. While parts may apply, it is not 100% not correct. This review is specifically about the Fender Mustang II V 2 Excellent amp with a simple modification Good sounding amp - with a bit of work.. Stock: 3 stars. Programming the settings is a nuisance. Fender's Fuse software, connecting to the USB connector on the amp works very well and provides thousands of combinations of sounds which you can hear in real time as you fiddle with the settings. Downloading the owner's manual is a must in any case. Cheap amp = cheap materials. The back is thin composite wood, more like heavy cardboard, and resonates like a bass drum head, soaking up much of the low frequencies and making what bass there is boomy and indistinct.
