    Can't be beat!

    I've been using Elixir guitar strings ever since they first came on the market back in the mid-90s. My hands and fingers produce a corrosive sweat while playing, and Elixir coated strings stay clean and playable much longer than non-coated ones. I now can get up to two months of playing out of a set of strings, compared to only two weeks (or less) on the conventional type. For everyday use, I like these Elixir 80/20 Bronze strings; in the studio, I find the Elixir Phosphor Bronze variety sound a bit more crisp. I recommend Elixir strings without hesitation.

    Great strings!

    I've used many different brands of strings over the years, some even very good. But none maintain tone & volume as long as Elixir. Even with excellent sounding alternative brand strings, I have to change them at minimum every two weeks costing at least double the expense in the long run.

    Bright, snappy strings.

    They bring a brighter, more colorful sound to each acoustic guitar. My experience has been that they sustain their tone longer than most as well. This is the only string set I buy for any of my acoustic guitars.
