About this product

Product Information

One of the better vampire films about two new-in-town brothers who discover a local gang of motorcycle youths are more undead than alive. Younger brother Sam (Corey Haim) works hard to eradicate the ghoulies but his older brother (Jason Patric) falls in love with the bunch's lone female (Jami Gertz). Soon, he finds that he's gradually becoming a vampire himself. An interesting candy-coated meditation on teen conformity with a great rock soundtrack.

    1987 Vampire Goodness

What's good is that this isn't about glittery, lame vampires who are possessive with their girlfriends. This is a story of forever young vampires who actually kill humans. Plus, two brothers make their way into the story by way of the older brother slowly turning into a vampire and the younger one having to seek help from two comic store employees who go by the Frog Brothers. And, boy, are they quite knowledgeable when it comes to the freakie-deakies that permeate their little town of Santa Clara. But will it be enough to change Michael back and defeat the gang of vampires in town? You'll just have to watch to find out.

  • The Lost Boys movie.

My Favorite movie from my college days. A mother, recently divorced, moves with her two boys to her fathers home in Santa Clara, CA. The summer is thought to be like any california summer, till Michael (played by Jason Patric) goes to a concert on the boardwalk and meets Starr (Jami Gertz) a mysterious Gypsy style clad woman. Following her proves to be more than expected when it turns out She is one of a group of vampires living in a Earthquake sunk old hotel. Not believing in such nonsense he joins them believing to be one of the gang now. Till he starts to experience some odd side effects. Definately a movie that brought the mysterious feel to me. I had to buy another copy i wore the old one out. The soundtrack is blood stirring and a perfect compliment to the story and alluring ...
