    The 1959 repro.

    Finally got it right! The bangs are curled like the original. The black eyeliner, white irises the arched eyebrows and even the holes in the bottom of the feet for the stand..Awsome

    Barbie beginnings

    Reproduction Suburban Shopper Barbie

    Reproduction clothing and accoutrements are very nice, but the doll is of very poor quality, along with the poor shape and style of the hair and ponytail. I don't understand why Mattel does not place the dolls shoes on her feet instead of the shoes being packaged to the side of the box? Box is a bit tight and does not showcase the fullness of the dress which is also partially covered by the hat. Disappointed with my purchase of this reproduction from Mattel.
