    Wow, that was a cinematic punch in the groin.

    I'm a fan of the Mutant Chronicles RPG and Warzone tabletop miniature wargaming system, so I was pleasantly surprised by there being an actual Chronicles movie out there (whoopee!). After purchasing the movie and sitting down to watch it, I was stunned to encounter a production whose only relation to the games is similarly-named characters and a general level of technology (although the reasons behind it are never explored in the movie). The storyline deviates completely from that point into a bad, bad place. The movie itself was... honestly just terrible. With some actually impressive actors, you'd expect something compelling, but no dice there. Bad dialogue and bad special effects (oddly the blood&gore were impressive whereas everything else stunk) made the whole deal ...

    Definitely worth watching

    This movie has a good storyline. It takes place in a future dominated by a limited number of international corporations that have replaced governments. During one of their battles they unknowingly release an almost unstoppable evil. A group of volunteers put their corporate loyalties aside and battle the evil. It is a good movie and a definite must see if you are interested in scenarios for role-playing or wargaming.

    Great B Grade Sci-Fi / Steampunk / Horror Movie

    The movie had some decent named actors including Ron Pearlman. I personally loved the movie. It was well made with some pretty good special affects. Definitely had the B grade movie nostalgia. If you are a fan of Sci-Fi, Steam Punk, or Horror then I would say definitely worth checking it out.

    Good viewing.

    Decent rainy afternoon getaway. Not the best sci-fi around but not bad, either. Three stars out of five. The acting could be better but what can you expect.

    pretty cool effects but boring plot

    I got this movie cause I am a Ron Perlman fan but I didnt think it was as good as I thought it might be. The makeup and effects are pretty cool but the plot was not that great at all. All in all, if you are a sci fi fan you would probably like it ok.
