    Be the Perfect Hostess or Guest

    Kate Spade offers advice for every occasion from the beginning to the end. This book gives the extra special details that make life's occasions memorable. She uses a fresh approach of easy to read text combined with beautiful water colored pictures to engage the reader. She makes you feel like she's a friend, preparing you for any occaion. She includes table settings and how to prepare certain cocktails with such style and flair, she makes Martha look old fashioned! It would be a thoughtful gift.

    Occasions by KAte Spade

    Occasions by Kate Spade is a lovely Saturday morning read. It offers advice on parties and planning for anyone who is entertaining, or who just likes the idea of entertaining. The book is filled with the same gentle watercolor artwork as in all her books, and there are quotes and fun facts on every page. The writing style is easy and clever, broken into captions and small bites. The planning ideas are fun and easy. This book would be a great gift to anyone who likes to entertain!

    Good product.

    I had the other two in the series ("Manners" and "Style") and decided it was about time to get the third one. It's a great book, although slightly ludicrous, which is to be expected. About the condition: Book was OK, except for a few missing lines (probably a printing defect) in one page (that I have noticed so far).

    great title

    i purchased this book to complete the set of three books co-written by kate spade (manners & style are the other two) - good reference or reminders of grace. my 16 year old daughter also refers to them.

    Fun read. Great value.

    This book completed the set of the series. It is a fun read but a bit over the top. We don't all live quite a lavish life style but never the less, many of the tips can be adjusted to a more relaxed and informal lifestyle.
