Lemony Snicket is entertaining...laugh out loud moments
My son first brought home one of the volumes of this series from the school library...I was a bit unsure due to the thickness of the book. Since he grabbed it out of sequence and it was one of the thicker volumes. But soon we both were laughing so hard...and we just could NOT put it down. By the time we were finished for the evening our abdomins were tender from laughing so hard. It was such a good read...that I purchased the entire set for him for Christmas...And it will be a set that will be kept for when we have grandkids. Some books are just classics that one wishes to share with the future generations. My son loves these books. He is a gifted 7 year old and has read on an 8th grade level since Kindergarten and probably better now. These books are good content for his younger development but also satisfy his reading level! I would buy these again and again!
