Mr. Belew, Mr. Music Head
I still think his first two solo albums "Lone Rhino" and "Twang Bar King" are his very best solo efforts, but "Mr. Music Head" is a really good album too. "Oh Daddy" of course being the lead single and video is a great song. "Coconuts" is another good one. They're all good songs. This is a much better album than his third album "Desire Caught By The Tail". Adrian Belew is not for everyone, because he likes to experiment a lot, not just with the wacky guitar sounds he makes, but also with song styles and genres. Sometimes people want an artist who just sticks to a certain sound...but Adrian isn't like that...and that's what I like about him...he changes constantly, and keeps thing interesting. If you're looking for this album to sound like the albums he did with King Crimson, then ... I just like listening to non mainstream talented groups. Of course if everyone listens to them then they will be mainstream and I will have to find another group. But seriously, I think you will enjoy listening to this group.
