Synopsis
Fall in love with the first book in Debbie Macomber's Deliverance Company series featuring a romance between a mercenary and a widow inexplicably drawn together. Cain McClellan had chosen his lifestyle. He thrived on the challenge, the rush that came with putting his life in incredible danger. No woman, he told himself, could make him feel the way he did after a successful mission--no matter how beautiful she was. So why was he standing on a cold pier like a lovelorn teenager, hoping for a glimpse of Linette Collins? But then he saw her, and the sight of her took his breath away. The wind whipped her lustrous dark hair about her face, and she lifted a finger to wrap a thick strand behind her ear. The smart thing to do was turn around and walk away as fast as his feet would carry him. He'd gotten what he wanted. One last look at her. His curiosity should be satisfied. But even as his mind formulated the thought, Cain knew that just seeing Linette again could never be enough, Cain McClellan had chosen his lifestyle. • Debbie Macomber Deliverance Company Series

Debbie Macomber Deliverance Company Series was just wonderful to read. I couldn't put the books down I had to finish reading them within a week! The suspense was great, I have never read a Debbie Macomber book that I didn't like or love so far and I've read just about everything she has written. And I will keep reading any of her novels new or old until I've read everything I can get my hands on!

  • Two Great Story Lines -One Great Book

This is a very good Debbie Macomber book. It is about a young woman, Linette whose husband has died of cancer. Her sister-in-law introduces her to a mysterious man, Cain McClellan. Cain is in town to help his friend Tim Mallory who was severely hurt in the line of duty. After finding a good physical therapist for Tim, Cain spends time with Linette before he has to leave on a mission. Great story of two very driven men who find women that change their lives - one meets his match and the other finds his match. Great story. Highly recommend.

  • Enjoyable read

  • Someday Soon

I personally love Debbie Macomber's writing style. Someday Soon didn't let me down. It is an excellent story written very well. There is no good reason not to buy it. It is so nice to be able to read a good book without being afraid of the language.
