    Manfrotto monopod 679B - versatile and excellent

    This is typically Manfrotto - well made and easy to use. Ideal for shots where the camera needs to be on a support for stability but easily moved, such as wildlife shots or action or sports pictures. Also useful for elevated shots where extra height is needed - with the monopod at maximum extension and at arm's length the camera will be off the ground by the height of the photographer plus about 6 feet. Very good for pics of crowds. Just set the camera delayed shutter release and hoist it aloft. This is best done with a wide angle lens for maximum effect since obviously you can't see through the viewfinder when the shutter trips so it's extremely difficult to target a specific subject. Supports a Nikon D2X with no problem at all. One of those items that gets occasional use but is worth its ...

    good well built

    Nice solid monopod well made the only think that let's it down is alittle heavy if you were carring around on a bac pack would recommend a carbon upgrade of the same make
