Dangerous stunt work, exhilarating action sequences, and a rousing theme song from alternative rock band Garbage make this a worthy addition to the 007 series. The film also marks the 17th and final appearance of Desmond Llewelyn as Q; John Cleese is introduced as Q's successor, R.

Ah the joys of the random number generator. Today it picked out a James Bond movie, and not just any old Bond movie, but one I hadn't seen yet (I own all of the Bond movies at least twice, sometimes three times thanks to Blu) The best way to describe this movie is in 4 little words "Denise Richards nuclear physicist" That just about says it all. There is a plot about nuclear bombs, and oil pipes and... well, I didn't grasp all of the plot intricacies to be honest, but it is your usual Bond stuff, saving the world and getting the girl at the end. It's a good movie, don't get me wrong, but we are talking about a JAMES BOND movie, so good just doesn't cut it compared to the other movies in the franchise. It kept me entertained for two hours, and I enjoyed it, so no complaints there, it's ... Ah the joys of the random number generator. This movie is what James Bond 007 is all about. We saw it in the movies and just bought the DVD. After watching "Quantum of Solace" we all agreed that Pierce Brosnan is definately an action actor and very handsome.
