    The main claim that is made is that you can eat anything you want as long as it is within an 8 hour period with 16 hours fasting. Well, Restricting your eating to an 8 hour period is no different than what you eat during the day. Bottom line is: If you eat high calorie low nutrient foods, you will gain weight. I tried it and I gained 2 pounds in one day. However, when I ate sensible I lost weight. No different than what they say. Calories in, calories out.
