The Pit....feed teddy
I bought this for The Pit which I last saw many years ago. It still holds. And the effects are solid. Disturbed preteen listens to his friend "Teddy" tell him he needs to feed the bad people to the trollogs in the pit. Boy is also interested peeping on his nanny and his neighbor. DVD restore of the film wasn't too good. Still grainy picture. Not too many extras....And for Hellgate, this is an cheasy 80's haunt. (It wants to be Phantasm) They had too make it campy because the production sucks. Westerns, Ghost Story, 50's flashback, and goofy acting don't work well together. Two tails of horror!
Now here's a double dose of horror... A double feature on a two-sided disc. Both features are '80s horror classics. This is a rare treat. "The pit" and "Hell gate" have some pretty good special effects. So if you haven't seen them, check them both out. You may like them.

I like both movies but I like Hellgate better. I know this is against the opinion of the majority who haved review this product. But the tale of the Hellgate hitchhiker is fascinanting, plus Abigail Wolcott is humm hot. The Pit is about this kid who is an outcast and has a hard time making friends or being accepted. He get his revenge on everyone who has damaged him but in the end he reaps what he saw.I like both movies but I like Hellgate better. The Pit is awesome!
I still haven't watched Hellgate. But The Pit makes this double movie worth buying. The little boy and his teddy bear are so creepy... you'll love the movie if you love weird horror movies.
