    Battleground Vietnam : War In The Jungle

    This documentary is a 5-dvd box set that examines the origins of how the Vietnam war started and takes you through the years and shows how the conflict progressed. Most of the film used is original film shot during the war. From the French forces battling the North Vietnamese forces in the 1940's to the mid 1950's to the eventual involvement of the U.S. government. There is plenty of interesting information about how the CIA was sending in small "A-Teams" into Vietnam to try and infiltrate and help the Vietnamese protect themselves long before the actual conflict became an all-out war. Also covered is the importance of the helicopters and how they would change how the whole war was fought compared to previous conflicts.
