Two songs that need to be added to your collection.
I had this on cassette tape long ago. Loved two songs, one of which got a lot of radio air play. The one on the radio was called YOU SHOULD BE HIGH LOVE. Catchy, a little funky, a touch epic in presentation of the underlying melody - but solidly rock-n-roll. The other was called THE BIG BEAT. Great solid rock song. A touch in your face, energetic. A classic hard rock song of the late 80's. Neither of these songs is a FREE BIRD or STAIRWAY, but they rock. The rest of the recordings are just filler to me but overall Billy Squier put more soul, heart and power into this early outing than he did with any other album of his, including my favorite DON'T SAY NO. If you like solid hard rock from the 80's you should check this out. If you like Billy Squier you should get this album, I ... I had this on cassette tape long ago.
