    Ideal for low output mikes like SM7B or EV20

    Plug the FetHead directly into your low output dynamic mike like an SM7B or EV20 on one end and your XLR cable into the other end to get 26dB boost. Add the FetHead if your preamp does not have enough gain (60dB for these mikes) or it is noisy when set at high gain levels. The FetHead requires phantom power from your preamp.

    Perfect size plug and play

    Like a lot of other people I have been looking for an inexpensive way to get clear vocals from my audio interface.When I read reviews about the fethead I had to try it WOW!! this thing really works! now I don't have to crank the gain up so high to get all the power and headroom needed for a good recording.Thank you Tritonaudio.

    Using it with an SM7B...

    It has a little noise but works for my purposes. If you are using it on an SM7B, put it on the mixer side. Doesn't fit well on the mic side.
