About this product

Product Information

EA Sports' celebrated soccer series returns to 128-bit consoles in this "2005" edition. Among the new and improved features in this year's game are the "first touch" system, designed to give expert players more control by allowing split-second, one-off passes, and more improvisational teamwork. Introduced in the previous year's edition of the game, FIFA's "off the ball control" returns, and has been enhanced to allow new moves in more situations. The game's career mode has expanded to involve more management activities, in the office as well as on the field. Like past versions, FIFA Soccer 2005 offers one of the most complete roster selections of any sports game available, and includes more than 12,000 real-life players in over 350 licensed teams and leagues from around the world.

  • Somrtimes fun, a lot of times infuriating.

Fifa 2005 is a decent game, but that's it. Its graphics are fairly good but alot of the players look exactly the same. I like how many teams and players there are, but the passing and shooting leave alot to be desired. The accuracy is the main problem. I mean, if you don't time the shot perfectly it will completely miss the goal. Passing is ridiculous also; it's just a guessing game where your pass will end up going; It's very frustrating. I've had this game for over a year and have had little sucess getting good shots or passes. I have this problem at every level of play. This is a game that will either give you great fun or great frustration. The difficulty levels are way to spaced out. The difference between semi pro and pro is so great that upon making the jump you will get hammered, ...

  • Amazing gameplay, graphics, goodness

FIFA Soccer is a classic game that every video game lover should own. Not only are you bound to buy it, FIFA Soccer 2005 shames all previous and current soccer games for Gamecube. Prior to purchasing FIFA '05, I had Euro 2004. The difference between the two games was immediately apparent when I began playing FIFA. FIFA has a much wider range of teams, much greater on-ball dribbling control, easier passing, more stadiums, better music, and it is the most addicting game I have ever played. The only thing FIFA '05 is lacking is an indoor stadium. That would add a whole new facet to the game. But the game is still the greatest soccer game for the system. Be prepared to be addicted.

  • Excellent!!

This game, when I used to play it, has been one of the best sport games I've ever played. Outstanding graphics and gameplay. Everything has been met up to reality; watching the game while playing gives you that feeling of a real game. Really recommend.

  • Fifa Soccer 2005 GameCube game

My kids love this game! Even though it is a 2005 version it is such a super fun game for kids who love soccer. It is a 4 player game so they 2 siblings can play against a parent and a friend.
