Well worth the 30.00 I paid for it.
This is a great little tv had great reception AT TIMES. Sometimes it locks up and I have to power it down this is in the ATSC TUNING MODE ONLY. I think it needs a firmware update but that's not an option. I currently have it mounted in my truck with external OTA antennas it does fine for the most part. The sound and picture quality is amazing while watch HDTV but its down graded while watching a DVD through the A/V cables could be a bad video cable on my part. For the price you can go wrong. Axion AXN-8701 7 in. Portable TV
First portable digital TV I have purchased. Pretty good reception in my area, but I had to use the external antenna to get it to lock onto the channels in my area. It did lock on all of them. Picture has been very good so far. I like that it has an internal battery, but I wish they had given the option of a user replaceable battery. So far I have gotten about 2 hours from the battery. The remote has limited functionality. Very pleased with it so far.First portable digital TV I have purchased. Great Bathtub Solution
After losing my wife's bathtub tv to the digital conversion, I spent a lot of time looking for the best possible replacement. The Axion was a great choice. The picture quality is great and I've had no problem locking in signals from all of the local channels...and I live in the Austin Hill Country and have really crappy cell coverage. It is a great size and very portable. I plan to make good use of it at Longhorn games this fall! Great Little TV
I bought the Axion AXN-8701 7 inch portable TV to use in the kitchen and out on the deck. I am very impressed. My house is a good 20 miles or so from any of the stations in my area, and the reception on this little TV is at least as good as what I get with my larger TV that isn't connected to cable. Programming the channels was a snap. The sound, of course, is not high end stereo quality but its fine if you're just looking to watch the news or something like that. And the picture quality is great. For my purposes I can't think of a single downside. Digital capable portable tv for car or home
I ordered this tv to use in the car to replace my 2." casio old signal. This tv is 7" and the digital signal comes in great except for one station. Where I live is about 25 miles from downtown and I even have problems with my cell signal where I live. This has all the accessories needed including a car and home adapter. Only thing needed is a bag to carry them all. I have yet to use it in the car, but if home is an indication when I get closer to downtown in a car I should have no problem receiving any station. This picture is good and the value for your money is outstanding. Glad to be rid of the casio and cant wait for football season where I finally will be ABLE TO SEE the scores scroll across the bottom of the 7" monster screen.I ordered this tv to use in the car to replace my 2." casio old signal.
