    simple and fun nintendo game

I am a novice player. Not the maniac that my son used to be. This game is perfect for a beginner as myself.

  • Its good, but not great in retrospect.

A decent world war I bi-plane shooter. As a young boy I would enjoy playing this game but found great difficulty with the later levels. There are three different types of missions to play in this game; dogfight, straffing, and bombing. The dogfights are pretty straightforward, just shoot down other bi-planes. Straffing missions consist of you flying your plane low to the ground and shooting trucks, tanks, bunkers, gun emplacements, or trains. I found difficulty manuvering properly on these missions as well as a sense of being kind of lost at some times. Bombing missions take you to an overhead view of your plane where you can greatly control your elevation but side to side not as well. Your objectives are clearly outlined before your mission begins with a schematic picture. The music is ...

  • Going back in time to my SNES days.

I played this game when I was a kid, and although it was (and still is) hard as hell, it's still really fun, and challenging. I like the fact that it's an old school game, and unlike the newer games, it stimulates "imagination" a bit more, it doesn't need to look like a movie. The music is authentic of that era, dramatic, and catchy, for the most part. It is a bit difficult, even frustrating, but flying a WW 1 biplane isn't exactly a game of dominoes, now is it? The music can sometimes be annoying, but in rare cases. The passwords are a bit too long and complicated. Sadly, you only get to fly a Sopwith Camel Plane, and not the planes of "the other guys" (and the game does a pretty good job in simulating the experience of how those Sopwith Camel planes flew like a chair). This game ...

  • Fun and challenging gameplay.

This is a fun game that showed off the SNES' processing power. I highly enjoy it.

  • Better than I expected, and I don't like aviation games that much.
