It also speeds up the process of accessing and retrieving external data, with a transfer rate of up to 300 Mbps while a seek time of only 11 seconds means rapid synchronizing with your computer, further shortening the time between installation and access to your files. A buffer size of 8 MB makes tasks such as audio recording smooth. To top it all, the Barracuda is quiet, thanks to its low sound emission of 30 dB.
