Synopsis
Throughout his loveless upbringing Hasani Weston has often wondered about his true origins. He is plainly not the son of his English father, but bears a close resemblance to his Egyptian mother.Having grown up as a virtual stranger in his family, he left home as soon as he was able only to endure a harsh life living on his wits on the streets of 1990s London. He encounters the wrath of his ruthless relations and learns of the tragic downfall of his mother and the sordid details of his own origin. His unwelcome appearance results in the unleashing of tragic fury as a lifetime of pent up frustration is released.A series of missed opportunities and twisted coincidences are revealed against the backdrop of a tense, edgy oppression on the harsh streets of Cairo.
