    Power to do the things your computer needs! Love it!

    I have always been a fan of AMD and GIGABYTE products. This CPU has increased my computers speed by almost 20%. It has made a noticeable difference in the way software loads and video plays. So easy to install. The best part was the CPU grease was already attached to the CPU cooler which made the installation less messy. No need to purchase it. The CPU Cooler has dissipated the heat from the CPU very quickly and I don't feel any heat build up with it. The only thing I would say is......if you are going to upgrade your CPU, ensure that you check your computer's BiOS version to verify that this CPU is compatible and the BiOS is the most recent version for the use of this product. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

    great processor with one SERIOUS PROBLEM

    As the ryzen processors were rolled out, I saw an opportunity to get one of the FX chips at a good price... installation is indeed fairly straightworward with one fatal and expensive exception. If you need to remove the processor and cooler, the thermal paste seems to glue the two together, such that is impossible to separate them and in trying to remove the cooler, the chip come out as well, bending enough pins to make the unit unusable, bye bye, $125, the zif socket is not as strong as the adhesive nature of the thermal paste. I have trashed two processors this way, which gets pretty expensive.

    Fastest processor my motherboard can handle.

    The Wraith cooler is up to the task of keeping the processor temperature reasonably cool during heavy stress. Installation may be a challenge for beginners, but buyers with some experience should have no trouble. With my motheboard limit of 125 volts it is the fastest processor my socket AM3+ motherboard can handle.

    Easy swap

    Works good. Does what it's supposed to. Big improvement over the 3.6 Ghz chip it replaced. On my mother board there wasn't a clearance issue between the Wraith fan and the memory. However, there isn't any room left over either. In a top mounted PSU case the fan may be a factor. Very easy change over. Took about 10 minutes.     It was a great and honest deal.

    I took a chance on it and it worked at first then it refused to boot anymore... Oh well. It might just be a bad bios. Even if I have to get another board I have no complaints at all. It looked like new! With the other items that came with it made it worth it.
