The steel is thin and bends way too easy and even more important, it doesn't fit off the get go either. You have to drill more holes, and the unit doesn't fit the latch properly easy. I wouldn't buy them had I known, glad I didn't buy more. Get the original for 30 bucks, save your self the headache and get the real deal.

I did have to hammer a small L shaped alignment pin flat to install the backplate. very easy install once you figure out how to release the seat. lots of youtube vids show you how.
