These bookshelf style speakers are perfect for my vintage Pioneer sound system setup. I did not need to spend thousands of dollars as these two drive the music home at a great price. The crisp highs and the deep bass and lows sound wonderful in my room. I just connected them to my "B" channel and was up and running in mere minutes.
