      Amazing lens!

      I have received this lens a few hours ago and have been playing with it ever since. It is sharp corner to corner. I am adapting this lens on the Sony A7III using the Sigma MC-11 adapter. I am happy to report that there is no lack of image quality. The autofocus is very fast in adequate light, however, it hunts in less contrasty situations. I will mostly shoot in daylight with it so it doesn't bother me. The manual focus is very smooth. The IS works smoothly with the Sony A7III IBIS. There is a sooosh sound when the lens IS is turned on. It doesn't bother me as well. I went with this lens instead of the Sony G 70-200mm f/4 because that is comparatively old, has field curvature and focus breathing issues, and copy variations....as I heard from reviews.       Best lens I ever bought

      I'm actually very suprised of the weight it's actually very light for its size. The f4 is very sharp just like my 24-105. The bokeh is very nice as well I took it down all way to 1/10 on shutter speed the IS on not one minimum shake of the photo it's great. Shes flawless.

      Sweet!

      At half the weight of the f/2.8 counterpart, this one has 5-stop IS and the images are extremely sharp. I will be bringing it around more from now on.

      Good But Broken

      Cosmetically the lens is in great shape. The manual focus doesn't work, the clutch seems to be worn out. It does work OK using the camera auto-focus.
