    The item was shipped relatively quickly. The packing was decent, although it looks like they took advantage of dozens of free envelopes from USPS to do the job. One expansion card had fallen out, but it happens when you ship a fully built system. Ideally, but not expected, the expansion cards would be separately packed in the box. Item not as described, it was not a 486 - it's a Pentium. But I knew that based on the photos and made an informed purchase. Value was pretty good too. Thanks!

    Authentic spring reverb better than digital

    While this effect is not rackable nor does it have true-bypass switching it offers a very large & sturdy sheetmetal enclosure and great authentic spring reverb sound. I finally settled on this after reviewing and owning a gob of digital reverb pedals some of which are very close to spring reverb at lower settings but all of which fail my "surf guitar" spring reverb sound needs. If you do the research you will find very few digital reverbs will even try to showcase a surf guitar spring setting where you dial in the effect just about as high as you can go. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is there is another real spring reverb effect (the green one with a mermaid on it) that uses an actual long spring tank that is even better (but unfortunately costs around twice what this one does ...

    Great spring reverb pedal

    This Danelectro Spring King is awesome! It has a slap back delay sound and a great spring reverb sound that only lacks some bass and drip. Easily mod worthy. With the drip mod and delay eliminated, it really sounds great. Well worth using as is, and fantastic modded.

    Amazing Spring Reverb Pedal

    This is a brilliant device with some great mojo. The slap pad is useful, and the sound is great, especially when matched with a great delay like the Catalinbread EchoRec.

    Great real spring reverb.

    Great real spring reverb, it is a one trick pony but does extremely well what it is supposed to do. Definitely recommended if you are looking or a spring reverb and space it is not a problem because this thing is huge !
