    The U.S.A. dodge ball team has just been formed. But they've got big dreams. Taking on the world's best (England, India, Iceland, China, Japan, Kenya, U.S.A. Pro All-Stars, and even the U.S.S.R.), these young Americans have a lot of work cut out for them if they are to become World Cup Champions. In Super Dodge Ball, it's up to you to help Team U.S.A. win the World Cup. You must defeat all of the teams listed above, the U.S.S.R. being the toughest, by hitting your opponents with a ball you've thrown and knocking them out of the game. Other games can be played, including a two-player "versus" mode and "bean ball," which consists of nothing more than throwing the ball at another guy who's trying to do the same to you.

        One of the best NES sports titles

        Another classic Technos Japan title, Super Dodge Ball is a rare competitive NES game that balances simple controls with surprisingly deep gameplay. It's a fast-paced sports game that doesn't take itself too seriously, but also allows for skill and strategy to play a significant role. Solo tournament mode is excellent, with an AI that's just good enough to keep things challenging. PvP matches are a blast, and allow for each player to not only pick a team that favors their play style, but also allows them to assign specific characters to any position. (Each character has a unique special attack.) If you like to play NES games with friends, and enjoy well-made competitive games like Blades of Steel or Techmo Super Bowl, consider adding Super Dodge Ball to your collection.

        Good Game!!

        It felt very good and very nostalgic to play this game for the first time in several years!! I am guessing Super DodgeBall on the Nintendo NES was used as one of the precursors to some of the other sports video games made by Nintendo, Sega, MicroSoft, etc..!! 👏👍

        Fun game

        Beaming an opponent or dodging a ball is very fun and addictive. The music, characters, background, and difficulty change each level and keep the game fresh and interesting. There aren't throw combos, but there are faster glowing ball throws and a throw where the ball splits 3 ways. Overall a great value and worth adding to any collection.

        Fun game! Brought back memories of my childhood!! Still fun an awesome just like I remember it!!! Super dodge ball pits you against other teams from around the world. It's fun to watch your players rocket launch the ball and send it flying into the other team members.
