Das Tokina AT-X Pro DX AF 12-24mm f/4.0 DX AF Objektiv Für Nikon ist ein Autofokus Weitwinkelobjektiv, das für Nikon Kameras nutzbar ist. Es hat einen Durchmesser von 84 mm, eine Länge von 89,5 mm und wiegt 540 g. Dieses Tokina AF Objektiv verfügt über optischen Zoom und hat eine Brennweite von 12-24 mm. Das Objektiv nutzt Innenfokussierung. So ändert sich beim Scharfstellen seine Länge nicht und das Filtergewinde dreht sich nicht, was bei der Verwendung von Polfiltern praktisch sein kann. Die maximale Blendenöffnung des Tokina AT-X Pro DX bei allen Brennweiten ist 4 und die minimale Blendenöffnung ist für alle Brennweiten 22. Der kleinste Aufnahmeabstand beträgt 0,30 m und der maximale Abbildungsmaßstab ist 1:8. In Verbindung mit dem Weitwinkeleffekt lässt die Naheinstellgrenze Nahaufnahmen, die mit dem Tokina AF Objektiv gemacht wurden, mit beeindruckender Tiefenwirkung zu. Des Weiteren verfügt das Tokina AF Objektiv sowohl über manuellen Fokus als auch über einen schnellen und leisen Autofokus. Die Frontlinse des Objektivs hat eine spezielle wasser- und schmutzabweisende Beschichtung. Diese sorgt dafür, dass der Blick durch das Autofokus Weitwinkelobjektiv stets klar ist, und erleichtert auch das Entfernen von Verunreinigungen. Da die Deckschicht zudem hart und kratzfest ist, schützt sie die Frontlinse auch vor kleinen Kratzern.
