    Half the price from retailers.

    Easy to use. Plug and play. Just plug in the power. Connect a ethernet cable that supplies the internet into any port. Then use the remaining 4 ports to connect to 4 devices. Highly recommend you invest in a box of cat5 cable, connector, and tool to secure the rj45 connectors. So you can make any lenght cable you need.

    Works exactly as it should

    What can you say about an unmanaged switch?- it either works or it doesn't. We had to upgrade when we switched from DSL to 240mb internet service from our cable provider. With this switch in place, we consistently get those 240mb speeds (so the switch is not slowing things down) where we previously had speeds of less than 100mb with our old 100mb switch.

    A definate upgrade from an "Office Hub"!

    This series of network switches from Netgear are the easiest in the universe to set up and use right-away, out of the box! It is also important to make the declaration now, that these switches are really not manageable. The price point of these switches makes them a no-brainer to deploy. They are great for buffering a single network port from unnecessary "local" traffic from "noising-up" a network segment and keeping communication channels open for the more important packet sets to be globally present on all network segments or subnets with no unnecessary interference.

    Nice little unit
