Six year old thrilled with his Lego "crayon" box
My son needed a "pencil" case for school to store crayons, and of course, it had to be Lego. As a mom who loves all things Lego, I had no problem with that! Lego is in my opinion the best brand on the market, inspiring my son's imagination to design and build, be creative in a myriad of ways that help his brain develop. That being said, I bought him a supercool looking case from Barnes and Noble. At least I thought it was great, but I am not a six year old boy. He hated it because it didn't have kid appeal. It was too sophisticated... I'll save it and give it to him when he goes off to his first job :) So I went to our favorite place to look for anything Lego, eBay. Yes, folks, if you can dream it, eBay is much more likely to have it. And after scrolling through pictures for 10 minutes... ... And the second I laid eyes on it, I knew he was absolutely right! It is a little thin, and the container is kind of a cheap, scratched-up plastic, but for a six year old, who cares?! It is fun and happy-looking with a smiley-faced Lego mini-figure of a policeman.
