After two poor experiences with this seller, they exceeded my expectations with this order…hard to believe it was the same seller. The book purchased, identified in their listing as “Very Good”, was, in fact, “Like New”. The price was very fair. Shipping was slow, but that seems to be true with many things purchased in the internet. If I have a complaint, it is that the seller will not respond to specific questions about a listed item before the purchase..too many orders to do so! 🙁

You can’t always be sure when an item is listed “like new” but this seller delivered a book that is just that. I’m very pleased with the condition of the book and the pricing was excellent compared to other sellers online. It was packaged extremely well and arrived with no wrinkles or folded areas. I made a great purchase and I now look forward to purchasing additional items by this author from this seller. 10/10 satisfaction!

Great Service! Very quick shipping and book was sealed nicely in a protective envelope, which isn't common nowadays. Book in condition as described. Very satisfied with the value.

    Classic Film A Treat

Very enjoyable movie, especially having read a couple books about it. Disagree with those who call it racist or that the character played by John Wayne is racist. It seems if someone rapes, tortures and murders your family that's good enough reason to hate them. One of the wonderful things about this film is the camera angles director John Ford uses, especially in the vast panorama of Monument Valley. Also the long takes Ford used, unlike many movies today, which are made up of many short takes. Ford also doesn't use many closeups, preferring a wide-angle shot of the scene. In one scene shot in Canada where it shows a cavalry troop crossing a frosty river, headlights from a vehicle can be seen moving from left to right in the background, which of course doesn't fit in the scene. But Ford ...

  • The Searchers/John Wayne

If you're a John Wayne fan, this is a good one to watch. Great story line, based on some facts. Even has Natalie Woods in it. Lots of Indians, as well. Really enjoyed the movie...

  • "The Searchers" one of the best westerns ever made

Always loved this movie Saw it when it first came out 1956 Am an old codger. Only one movie I like more now which is "Lonesome Dove". Am an old cowboy myself and these two are the best for realism and capturing the spirit of those times.
