        Clarity added.

        An interesting gadget. I don't fully understand how it works but I have added into my experimental stereo system between the CD player and my active crossover. It certainly brings the sound alive and makes everything a lot clearer. I will have to try it next with my turntable, should be very interesting. It does need to burn in for a few hours. Well worth the money even though I live in the UK and had to pay Shipping and import duty. I you are like me and enjoy tweeking, I would definitely recommend you buy one. If you live out side the US you will have to buy an power adaptor but it must be an AC/AC type as it does not run on DC.

        Excellent product that enhances sound!

        BBE has been making these sonic maximizers since around 1990; that's when I bought a 1002 unit. They work great and enhance the sound, adding clarity, dynamic punch to the sound & enhancing bass. These things are absolutely recommended. These new units are very compact and can be hooked up with RCA connectors or the 3/8 headphone cords; either works fine. If you buy a "returned" unit, like I did, they're fine, but make sure it's not missing its power supply; the retailers that sell them don't check for this. It took about 3 weeks to get a replacement power supply from BBE, but they were extremely nice about it & sent it for free; it just took a while to receive. But a great product & absolutely recommended!!

        Must have for turntables cleaner more vibrant sound

        Wonderful! Amazing quality for turntables. I have used this with a U-Turn plus and a Fluance RT-85 and the jump in quality is immense. I am able to hear things I haven't ever heard in records, the strings and vocals are more separated and the sound stage is much more isolated. A must have if you have a above average turntable setup. For all solid state/digital stuff I couldn't hear too much of a difference. In short it makes listening more vibrant and less dull/muddled.

        Good value facade

        Assembles easily and works well. With the extended kit, it covers my whole rig with lighting truss well. Backlighting looks good. Easily removable velcrod scrim panels should be great to wash if needed.

        Most apparent upgrade in any setup I have tried it on!

        Easily the best hardware upgrade (minus headphones) that I have made so far in my journey towards audio quality and clarity. P.S.: I wish it had volume/gain control but it isn't an amp so don't plan on using it as one.
