    Excellent media bag to hold my Purigen or carbon

    Excellent bag that bleach will not destroy when soaking in bleach water to regenerate purigen. The Seachem Purigen is fine and stays in the bag. It would work just as well for Carbon.. I will order another for my next tank I am setting up.

    High Quality Product

    Have used Seachem's "The Bag" since switching over to saltwater approximately 5 years ago. They are extremely durable and perfect for small particle redox filter media like Purigen or BRS's high capacity GFO.

    containing fine filter material

    Some of the products that are gaining in popularity are a very fine consistency that a number of current media bags just don't contain well enough to make for a clean use of the product. These super fine 180 Micron bags are picking up the slack and changing the problem of leaking media making it possible to freely use these finer materials in application.

    THIS is what you put Purigen into, nothing else.

    I wouldn't use any other bag for filter medium. Fine mesh, welded seams.
