    The beloved MICKEY MOUSE CLUB had huge success when it aired in 1955. The daily variety show starred famed Annette Funicello and other real kids from around the US. It ran for three years before it was cancelled. Though there have been several popular revivals, the first season holds a place in America's collective heart as the essence of an innocent and idyllic childhood. This release features the show's first week (October 3-7, 1955), alongside some previously unreleased footage, newsreels, songs, circus acts, comedy acts, Mickey Mouse cartoons, special guests, and, as ever, a few surprises.

        Pristine video quality, highly entertaining

        This 2-disc set from the Walt Disney Treasures series really IS a treasure. It features the first week of programs from the Mickey Mouse Club in October, 1955. In addition to the black-and-white MMC episodes, there are some fascinating extra features that are in color, including the intros from Leonard Maltin, the current-day interviews with original Mouseketeers, some rare color footage from opening day at Disneyland, and others. This is a very well done set. I hope Disney releases more of these!

        Walt Disney treasures Mickey Mouse club this is often sent limited-edition great price I think others going for about 90 or dollars brand-new this was like new a little bit of peeling off on the back sticker but that is normal easily repaired with glue great for any me collector
