      Cant play game

      The game came just fine but I cant play it. Its too old to play on Windows 10. I even tried compatibility mode for Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP but still nothing. As far as I know the game simply doesn't work on today's computers. Wish I'd known that before I bought it. :(

      Oldie but a Goodie

      When this game 1st came out in the 90s it was AWSOME. Compared to modern day games and the younger generation I'm sure they think it sucks, but for a 70s kid who grew up on Atari playing Asteroids Combat Tanks & Missle Command, playing Ages in the 90s was a superb improvement. I love this game and play it at least twice a week... and I'm going on 46 years old!

      One of the Best Games Ever .. has (mostly solvable) problems with windows 7/10

      The original AoE is still one of my all time favorite games. I bought three copies so I could play networked with my kids. I had various issues installing to windows 7 and windows 10. I recommend the fan made "Age of Emipres HD patch" - it was the only way this would run on my system. Even yet there are still some issues. But overall, it's playable.
