    Excellent

    The cpu came wrapped in a piece of tissue and a lot of bubble wrap, my wife opened it and phoned me saying i received an empty envelope. I new it was a cpu, so told her not to worry. Installation was easy, since it was not my first time to open my laptop and it gave it a new life. The difference between my firts upgrade, when i switched from single core celeron with 2.1 GHz to Core2duo T7250 was more impressive then now, but the boot up time got considerably shorter. I would recommend upgrading old notebooks with this cpu, since it gives best price/performance ratio, has a lot of cache and 2.4GHz. Just don't expect to have a new-like PC experience, it is still a 9 years old technology, but to prolong a life of an old laptop for web browsing, youtubeing etc. it is perfect!

    Inexpensive DIY upgrade for old laptop

    Nice performance boost for older laptop. Replaced the original T5500 with this faster chip with 4M cache. Runs Windows 10 well for light tasks.
