    $80 spent an the engine and muffler. The 20 year old mower runs and sounds like a new mower now.

    I replaced a 8 hp. engine with a new 13 1/2 hp. engine I bought in an auction. It required a required a larger exhaust pipe. I modified the Craftsman muffler that was made for that size engine to fit the assembly, it sounds good on the assy.
