Will do the job but lacks hardware
What you see in the photo is all you get. No hardware came with it to fasten it on to the bicycle. Also, the plastic piece that connects the two poles is a bit loose. It would have been nice if the two parts could be screwed together. You might have to tape them or use plumber's tape for a tight fit. I wouldn't glue them because it's easier to keep them separate for storage. I've seen people use the flag horizontally for the "three feet rule." For that, the upper part alone could be used. The reflective on the flag is nice as was expected. What you see in the photo is all you get. No hardware came with it to fasten it on to the bicycle. Flimsy and Fragile
The only reason i chose it's okay is because the flag itself is reflective and that will keep my kids safe. BUT to keep them safe and to use the flag I had to make a coupler to join the two poles together. The cheap piece of plastic broke before my son could ride his bike. Also the metal bracket that attaches to the back wheel is very flimsy and is very easy to bend to solve this I made some large stainless washers to sandwich the bracket and that made it strong enough to use. Pleasantly surprised to find that the flag's gray edging is reflective as is the yellow vinyl stripe. The flag fabric is probably some poly blend and double layered. There's a grommet on the pole to prevent the flag from sliding down as well as color matching clips on the flag that prevent it from bunching up. If the anti-slide (bottom) one breaks, a zip-tie is a simple fix. The orange safety ball on the tip is a nice bonus--prevents you poking your eye out. As some have said, the weak point of the pole is probably the plastic coupler that joins the pieces (mine is intact) but you can fix or upgrade it easily with K&S metal tubing (aluminum, brass, steel) with an inside diameter of 1/4" then crimp the tubing for a friction fit. The mounting bracket is basic and thin but is firmly attached to the pole via a small crimp. I'd prefer it be loose so you can remove the entire flag and leave the bracket on the bike. No hardware needed--the rear axle nut is loosened and the bracket is inserted between the frame and the nut and tightened; there's holes for more hardware though. Basic instructions are on the package. Not a bad piece of equipment.

Just what the doctor ordered, so to speak. I had a similar flag, but the quality was poor! The staff is of good quality, quite long, so you could adjust to your needs. The construction of the flag is very well done. If you have this on you bike or as I use it on my mobility scooter, if they can see you now, they don't belong on the highway or the sidewalk.
