    Good olde black and white gangster film.

    Really enjoyed this film. Can't wait to watch the new version. Although it is a black and white film, the overall story was really interesting to watch and the young Richard Attenborough plays an excellent part. Would recommend this film if you like old black and whites. Pleckoooo

    Gripping drama,much recommended.

    Bought this DVD as I have always loved this film.It made a big impression on me as a teenager in the early 70's when I studied it for English GSE exam. Sombre background explains the depressed era of the time which bred violence amongst the youth. Really compulsive viewing.
