Initially, I had some weird issues with it. The card was recognized fine (i.e. lspci in Linux) but not detecting any drives (nor the card detected in bios)! I almost gave up, blaming my motherboard as incompatible... But, after re-seating the card in the PCI slot again, suddenly everything working great!
