    CAT8010 Air Compressor

    In a word: quiet. The YouTube video says it all - these CAT compressors are virtually silent compared to their old-school brothers. Mine arrived in good shape and was easily set up. Seems to be of good quality. Refills quickly. The 8.0 gallon tank has greater capacity than the common 5.5 gallon, for just a few dollars more. Gonna sell my old compressor to someone who doesn't mind wearing earmuffs all the time.

    I should have bought a Dewalt !

    Cheap Chinese made junk. It is quiet. Not very well made. No way it will last for 3000 hrs. Don't buy 1 from eBay as they only sell blemished compressors on ebay is what I was told by California Air. The listing I bought from said NEW but recieved a blem.

    An Outstanding Investment!!!

    Read and watched many online reviews of this product. I live in a 16 floor apartment building and when I received this air compressor, I unpacked it and turned it on to see all the rave about this little guy. In Puerto Rico we say, "Vamos a ver si que el gas pela?". Roughly translate as "Lets see if gasoline really peels off your skin?". Well, when I turned this on on my little 750 sq ft apartment, I was shocked. It was truly running at 64 decibels or less. My other half was taking a nap and never noticed it was turned on. I actually use it for my woodworking shop and this guy is amazing. Stop wasting time and buy this little guy. Great company, great product and awesome usage!!!

    Great compressor

    This is the second Cal Air Tools compressor I’ve bought. I’ve had their small portable for years and it’s been an excellent, and quiet, performer on the job site. It’s nice when the compressor kicks on inside a house and doesn’t scare your client or their cat! I needed a larger tank model for the shop and bought this one. After setting it up I turned it on and filled the tank. It sounds even quieter than the older one. I left it at full pressure for a week with no hoses attached and it stayed at full pressure the entire week. No leaks what so ever!! Now when I assemble the hose system in the shop I will know that any leaks do not come from the compressor like other brands I’ve experienced in the past. It’s a great tool. Highly recommend.

    Nice product,and good service

    Only one issue a got,aluminum hose needs to be replaced with more resistant material or flexible pressure tubing ,mine came loose assembled, so when I tried to tight it, it broke down, now I Can't use it till is fixed. Please help.
